REGISTERING, BIDDING AND PAYMENT
- All bidders must register on this site, login with a security check, and agree to rules and regulations.
- Bidders require proof of ID, setup password.
- An account username/ or number is automatically generated when the account is setup.
- To bid at each auction they have to agree to certain conditions and a payment method of automatic payment withdrawn from a credit/eftpos card.
- The above is a requirement at each auction (not individual lots) not just when they first sign up.
- Starting bids will vary for each auction and item.
- Bidding will start at different times and go up in different increments. This will be decided when listing the items.
- Bidding will have an end time however it will continue with a 5 minute delay following each bid that is made after the closing time on that item.
- Auctions may have a reserve price.
- When the auction on an item finishes it will show that it sold or was passed in.
- Winning payments must be made within 48 hours.
INTERNET SERVICE DISRUPTIONS
Bidders should be aware that the Internet may at times exhibit slow downs and outages that are outside of the control of Emporium Auctions and that at these times it may not be possible to bid over the Internet at an auction. Bidders are advised to place bids as early as possible and to use the bid stack to place a limit in advance of the auction of a lot and have the system bid for you.
